Freestyle Fitness Yoga (FFY) is a fitness program that incorporates deep stretch, Yoga postures and Pilates exercises. Any one taking part in a FFY class can expect to improve their flexibility greatly in 8 weeks.
How does FFY differ from traditional Yoga?
There a many forms of traditional yoga, but the one common thread is that it is a spiritual exerperience as well as a physical one. In FFY we concentrate on the physical aspect using yoga postures that endorse strength, stability and increase flexibility. There is no dogma, chanting or philosophy attached to this workout and no use of the Sanskrit terms as postures are described from the body's natural anatomical perspective using the lanuage of fitness. Finishing the workout with a period of relaxation, FFY is the perfect way to stretch and relax....
